We are very proud of how incredibly diverse (and, of course, tasty) Chinese cuisine is, and we like to show it off. We offer food locals love, but ensure it always meets your school’s good food policies.
The one guarantee we always make, is we recommend truly authentic meals. We prefer to avoid touristic buffet restaurants at all costs, and thus delicious and authentic local restaurants are recommended. During programs longer than 4 days, we will try to fit in one western dinner to maintain a balance.
Before the trip, we will provide you with full menus for each and every meal. Teachers and students can then get fully involved in tailoring meals until it is exactly to your taste. In fact, it’s also quite fun to give the students some control for 1-2 meals on trip, a further opportunity for them to take a leadership role in decision making.
Menus are selected to cater to the students’ age and needs, and we follow school policies at all times (no MSG, nuts or nut oil, and for all meals to be fresh and healthy). Vegetarian options are provided at every meal, and we are accustomed to meeting specific dietary requirements (vegan, halal, kosher, gluten free, allergies) on a student-by-student basis.
We provide drinking water and locally sourced fresh fruit/snacks at all times, to provide plenty of extra vitamins and fibre throughout the journey. We will work with your policies on sugar content, and provide refillable water whenever possible to encourage recycling.
